21-year-old Penden Sayang is the youngest employee of AB Ventures (as of yet) but his appointment with the company is no accident. At 21, Penden is strong, smart and deserving of being part of AB Ventures.
“I started working at the age of 15 and did various kinds of jobs starting from helping my mother run a grocery to being the delivery boy, customer’s associate for new start-up companies and many more. I did it all to learn and to be able to provide for my family. Through my past humble work experience, I gained resilience and skills to communicate with customers and strategize work plans for the successful generation of revenue.”
In addition to that, Penden has always been artistically gifted, a gift that helped him find his way to AB Ventures.
“I started drawing sketches ever since I was 5 years old and over the years, my sketches became more prominent pieces of art that I used to portray my imagination into reality.”
Penden has the eye and the hand for art and loves being able to bring other people’s desires and expectations into life. On the other hand, Penden’s passion for creative writing could be seen in his musical compositions too as he makes his own music and writes his own lyrics.
“I write lyrics to convey messages to people”
Unfortunately, though, Penden couldn’t continue his undergrad education and the pandemic threatened the livelihood of the companies he was working for as well as his family’s. Owing to this, Penden became of one the many talented, passionate but unemployed youth of Bhutan. However, he didn’t give up. He kept trying, continued to learn skills and acquired knowledge through the opportunities online and his efforts didn’t fail him.
Accordingly, Penden found AB Ventures and now is a part of our team.
“I am very lucky to be here (AB Ventures) as there are so many people who are without jobs and I get to do what I primarily love doing and that is content curation, customer service and working with a diverse but equally passionate and creative team”.
