It aims at understanding the future of jobs, skills and education and developing the 21st-century workforces. It aims in building capacity, capabilities and productivity by applying intelligence and discovering new technologies.
The Founder and Managing Director, of Workforce Blueprint, is Wendy Perry.
Wendy is an insightful, inspiring and empowering entrepreneur, innovator, mentor, facilitator, author and leader. Her last visit to Bhutan was in August 2019 when she met with the Bhutanese youths and entrepreneurs. During that period, a two days event was held whereby she encouraged the entrepreneurs to understand the real-world problems and find solutions for them. Coincidentally, one of our founders (Rikesh Gurung) was also present there at the event and after the event, Wendy was closely in contact with the founders of AB Ventures.
Workforce Blueprint has a purpose in solving the workforce problems and in job creation and that is how the collaboration with AB Ventures started. AB Ventures and Workforce Blueprint came together with the main goal of providing outsourcing and virtual assistant services for Australian clients by employing Bhutanese youths.
The idea to collaborate was developed during the Covid-19 lockdown in Bhutan when the work sector and the economy of the country were hit hard with many young people losing jobs. On one hand, Australian people could get their work done cost-effectively and on the other hand, the employment of youths would help solve the rising problem of unemployment in Bhutan.
While Bhutan and Australia already enjoy good diplomatic relations since 2002, this joint venture has further created digitally and economically viable jobs for the youth of Bhutan, hence strengthening the bond between the two countries.
